Valencia head coach Gary Neville has reportedly won the race to secure the loan services of Atletico Madrid left-back Guilherme Siqueira.
A recent report had claimed that the 29-year-old, who has made just one La Liga appearance for Atletico this season, was on the verge of moving to Newcastle United.
However, according to AS, a late approach from Neville has proven to be successful.
It is believed that the defender has already arrived at the Mestalla for a medical, with the deal potentially being announced this afternoon.
