Newcastle United are reportedly in talks with Valencia over a loan move for Lucas Orban.
The 26-year-old, who joined Los Che from Bordeaux in 2014, has made 12 appearances for his Spanish club this season, but has not been in the plans of new head coach Gary Neville.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle are interested in signing the Argentina international on an initial loan deal, which could become permanent at the end of the season.
Orban, who began his career with Argentine outfit River Plate, signed a five-year contract with Valencia upon joining in August 2014.
The Magpies have until Monday evening to complete a deal for the left-back.
