Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has said that his side's Champions League final victory over Juventus defies explanation.

The two sides met in Berlin and goals from Ivan Rakitic, Luis Suarez and Neymar gave the Catalonians an impressive 3-1 victory which secured them a fifth European crown.

"I can't explain what happened today but I'm really happy for the team," Ter Stegan told ITV Sport after the game.

"We did a good season. We knew that Juventus would come back but we always have to continue like this. We're treble winners, it's awesome."

Barcelona's victory in Berlin has seen them complete the treble in Luis Enrique's first season as manager.
