Martino confident in Lionel Messi, Neymar

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino is confident that Lionel Messi and Neymar will grow as a partnership.

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino believes that Lionel Messi and Neymar will grow as a partnership.

The two attackers thrived alongside each other in the early part of the campaign, but injuries to both have hampered their progress as a duo in the second half of the season.

"Messi and Neymar haven't played much together this season because of injuries," Martino told reporters at a press conference.

"The times they have played together, they have linked up well, but recently they haven't had much connection on the pitch."

Messi has scored 27 times this season, while Neymar has 12.
