Neymar delighted with Lionel Messi renewal

Barcelona forward Neymar reveals his delight after Lionel Messi penned a new long-term deal with the Spanish giants.

Barcelona forward Neymar has revealed his delight after Lionel Messi signed a new long-term deal with the Spanish giants.

Messi re-signed with Barcelona last week, with the Argentine international penning a new four-year contract at Camp Nou.

There were suggestions that Messi could look to leave Spain amid tax issues, but Neymar is "very happy" that the "best in the world" has decided to sign a fresh contract.

"I'm very happy to have the best in the world with us," Neymar told reporters. "It's complicated to think about football without him."

Messi has scored 507 goals in 583 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions since debuting for the first team in 2004, while Neymar has netted 105 times in 186 appearances for the Spanish outfit following a 2013 move from Santos.
