Marc-Andre ter Stegen has stated his eagerness to begin his playing career with Barcelona.
The German goalkeeper arrived from Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this summer, and the 22-year-old cannot wait to make his debut for the La Liga giants.
He told reporters: "In every game, whatever it is, it's important to give your all. It will be special for [me and Jeremy Mathieu].
"The coach will decide [if we play]. I hope to have a good career with Barcelona."
Ter Stegen is expected to be number one at Barca this season, despite the arrival of Claudio Bravo.
