Andoni Zubizarreta: 'Munir is still developing'

Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta praises the potential of Spain youngster Munir El-Haddadi, but warns that he is still developing.

Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has said that it is important that Munir El-Haddadi is given the time to blossom at the Camp Nou.

The teenager has burst onto the scene this season, scoring his first league goal for the club and making his senior debut for Spain.

The 19-year-old missed a host of chances in Barca's 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, but Zubizarreta has insisted that the striker is still "developing".

"He's developing, which we have seen in the juveniles and we know he has the profile of a forward and is good in front of goal," he told AS.

Neymar scored a late brace for Barca against Bilbao to earn them three early-season points.
