Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly in no danger of losing his job at Camp Nou before the start of the 2021-22 campaign.

Barcelona have no plans to relieve Ronald Koeman of his duties before the start of the 2021-22 season, according to a report.

The former Netherlands boss witnessed his side crash out of the Champions League after being humiliated on their own turf by Paris Saint-Germain, and he is yet to win over the entire Blaugrana fanbase.

However, after a meeting with newly-elected president Joan Laporta, TV3 reports that discussions between the pair were positive and Koeman will still be in control of the reins for the start of the new season.

The report adds that the Blaugrana boss will have the final say on any potential incomings at the club, with Laporta due to sit down with the 58-year-old for another meeting during the international break in order to discuss transfer targets.

Lyon's Memphis Depay is reportedly desperate to link up with his former national team boss, while speculation over a move for his compatriot Georginio Wijnaldum continues to intensify.

Koeman has won 29 of his 43 games in charge of the club, and his side currently sit four points behind leaders Atletico Madrid in the La Liga table.
