Team News: Lionel Messi, Jamie Vardy start in Barcelona, Leicester City pre-season friendly

Lionel Messi starts for Barcelona, while Jamie Vardy lines up for Leicester City in tonight's pre-season friendly in Stockholm.

Lionel Messi and Jamie Vardy will start on opposite sides of the field as Barcelona and Leicester City go head to head in an International Champions Cup match in Stockholm this evening.

Messi forms an attacking trio with Luis Suarez and Munir El Haddadi, while Vardy will lead the line for the Foxes in the pre-season friendly.

Barca boss Luis Enrique has opted to play Aleix Vidal, Jeremy Mathieu and youngsters Marlon Santos and Juan Camara.

Arda Turan, Denis Suarez and Sergi Roberto have also been given the nod, while Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has named a strong side, which includes Riyad Mahrez, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

Ron-Robert Zieler starts in goal, with Danny Simpson, Robert Huth, Wes Morgan and Ben Chilwell in defence.

Marc Albrighton, Danny Drinkwater, Andy King and Demarai Gray have also been handed starting spots.
