Barcelona defender Dani Alves has admitted that he has urged Santos forward Neymar to join him at the Catalan outfit.
Neymar, 21, is regarded as the most sought-after talent in world football, with Barcelona just one of a number of clubs interested in signing the Brazilian international.
However, Alves has claimed that he is doing all he can to convince his countryman to move to Spain.
He told FIFA.com: "I've been at it for ages. When the rumours of him making a move to Europe started I told him he should come to Barcelona."
Neymar is expected to depart Santos following the completion of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
