Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen is reportedly the subject of interest from Anderlecht.
Since leaving Arsenal for Camp Nou, Vermaelen has endured three injury-hit years and combined with a loan spell with Roma, the Belgian has made just 31 appearances in all competitions.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that West Bromwich Albion were looking to hand the former Gunners player a return to the Premier League as Tony Pulis continues to look for reinforcements at the back.
However, according to reports in his homeland, Anderlecht are prepared to give Vermaelen the chance to play in Belgium's top flight for the first time in his career.
New Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has allegedly offered Vermaelen the opportunity to remain as backup at last season's La Liga runners-up, but appearances in the first team would again be limited.
