Atletico Madrid have reportedly offered a lucrative new contract to Antoine Griezmann.
According to The Sun, the La Liga outfit are prepared to increase the Frenchman's wages to £340,000 a week to ward off interest from Barcelona.
Barca are said to be close to securing Griezmann's services in a deal worth £100m, which was allegedly agreed between the two clubs last October.
The France international is believed to be keen to resolve the matter of where his future lies ahead of this summer's World Cup finals.
Atleti, meanwhile, are said to be hopeful that their offer of a new contract will convince him to perform a U-turn and snub Barca before leaving for international duty.
