Atletico Madrid 'eye Aleix Vidal'

Atletico Madrid will move for Barcelona defender Aleix Vidal at the end of the season, according to a report.

Atletico Madrid will reportedly move for Barcelona defender Aleix Vidal at the end of the season.

Vidal had been tipped to leave Barcelona during the winter window, but no move occurred.

The 28-year-old has made 18 appearances for the Catalan outfit in all competitions this season, although he has only started three times in La Liga.

Sevilla, Roma and Napoli are all believed to hold an interest in the Spaniard, but according to Diario Sport, Atletico will attempt to bring Vidal to the Wanda Metropolitano at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Vidal has scored four times in 44 appearances for Barcelona following a move from Sevilla in June 2015.
