Barcelona 'need to sell one more player before sealing Lautaro Martinez deal'

Barcelona reportedly need to sell one more player before they are able to make an official approach for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.

Barcelona reportedly need to offload another member of their first-team squad before they can pursue a deal for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.

While the Catalan giants have been frequently linked with the Argentina international, they have recently missed out on activating the 22-year-old's set release clause.

However, according to Marca, the La Liga outfit remain confident about eventually signing the striker, providing that they can get another player off their books.

The report suggests that club officials will feel that they are in a position to get a deal over the line if they can generate a significant fee, potentially from finding a buyer for Philippe Coutinho.

Barcelona are also keen to include two players in part-exchange for Martinez in order to reduce their financial outlay during the next transfer window.

Inter are said to be prepared to hand Martinez a new contract, despite his existing terms lasting until 2023.
