Barcelona seal Luis Suarez signature from Liverpool for £58m?

Barcelona reportedly negotiate a price of £58m with Liverpool for Luis Suarez, who is expected to be announced as a new signing for the Spanish outfit today.

The Spanish press has claimed that Barcelona have negotiated a discount price for Luis Suarez, who is expected to be confirmed as a new signing for the Catalan giants this week.

Liverpool have been in talks with the former La Liga champions over the last few weeks, but widespread reports have claimed that a £70m deal was in place.

It was initially believed that Barcelona were willing to meet the release clause in the Uruguayan's contract, but El Mundo Deportivo claims that the Spanish side have negotiated a fee of £58m with the Merseyside outfit.

The publication also states that Barcelona are due to make an announcement regarding the deal, which does not involve any swap involving Barca players, today.
