Barcelona 'agree fee for Samuel Umtiti'

Barcelona reportedly agree a £24.7m fee with Lyon for French defender Samuel Umtiti.

Barcelona have agreed a fee with Lyon to sign defender Samuel Umtiti, according to reports.

The Spanish champions have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old all summer, and earlier this month reportedly agreed personal terms over the switch.

The transfer now appears to be one step closer to completion after the two clubs agreed on a €30m (£24.7m) fee, including bonuses and add-ons, according to L'Equipe.

The final details of the switch are expected to be completed by Thursday evening, although official confirmation could be delayed until after France's Euro 2016 campaign.

Umtiti, who could play in his side's quarter-final against Iceland on Sunday night, is expected to sign a five-year deal at Camp Nou.
