Barcelona have announced that Pedri has signed a new long-term contract with the Catalan giants.
The midfielder made the move to Camp Nou from Las Palmas in July 2020, and he has represented the club on 175 occasions in all competitions, scoring 24 goals and registering 17 assists in the process.
The 22-year-old has again been a vital player for the La Liga team this season, scoring four goals and registering four assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.
Pedri's future with Barcelona has now been secured, with the Spaniard penning a fresh contract until June 2030.
"FC Barcelona and the player, Pedro González "Pedri", have agreed a contact renewal and he is set to stay with the club until 30 June 2030," read a statement on Barcelona's official website.
"The Blaugrana midfielder signed his new contract today in the presence of FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, first vice-president Rafa Yuste, and the club's director of football Anderson Luis de Souza "Deco".
"Clearly ensuring he remains at the club was one of the priorities, as it was for him too. He grew up in the Canary Islands as a big fan of the FC Barcelona playing style and is now fulfilling his dream. A dream that is set to continue for at least another five years."

Which Barcelona players are out of contract in June 2026?
Pedri's previous deal had been due to expire in June 2026, and while the announcement on his future is excellent news, Barcelona have a number of other important players in the final 18 months of their contracts.
Indeed, Lamine Yamal, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia, Robert Lewandowski, Inaki Pena, Hector Fort, Pablo Torre, Marc Bernal, Alex Valle and Ander Astralaga are all out of contract next summer.
Securing fresh deals for Yamal and Gavi are high on Barcelona's priority list, but it remains to be seen what happens regarding De Jong, with the experienced midfielder potentially being available for transfer this summer.
The Catalan giants also have two players out of contract this summer - number two goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and experienced centre-back Inigo Martinez, but it would be a surprise if the latter was not offered an extension.
