Barcelona considering Cristhian Stuani move?

Barcelona are reportedly contemplating a move for Girona forward Cristhian Stuani as they consider potential replacements for Luis Suarez.

Barcelona are reportedly considering whether to reignite their interest in Girona forward Cristhian Stuani.

Having starred for the Spanish side since leaving Middlesbrough, Stuani has previously been on Barcelona's radar, despite entering the final years of his career.

While the 33-year-old now plies his trade at the second tier, reports in Spain suggest that the Catalan giants remain keen on the Uruguay international.

Barcelona require a short-term replacement for Luis Suarez, who could miss the rest of the season after undergoing a knee operation.

Stuani has a £21m release clause in his contract, leaving Barca to decide whether the frontman represents value for money.

Since 2017, Stuani has contributed 57 goals from 85 appearances for Girona in all competitions.
