Celta Vigo manager Eduardo Berizzo has said that rumours suggesting that Barcelona are interested in re-signing Nolito will not affect the midfielder when the sides face each other this evening.
The Spain international, who made five first-team appearances for Barca between 2010 and 2011, has been linked with a return to Camp Nou having already scored four goals in as many games this season.
Despite such speculation, however, Berizzo hopes that the 28-year-old stays with Celta for the rest of his career.
"Any footballer wants to play in this match, not just Nolito. But I don't think that the rumours about him will affect him in any way. He has had a very good start to the season, scoring in four games, and hopefully he'll continue that run," Berizzo told reporters.
"I answered a lot of question about this during the summer, and I hope I don't have to do it all again. We want Nolito to stay with us forever."
Nolito signed for the Celts from Benfica in July 2013, and has since scored 31 goals in 71 appearances.
