Inter Milan 'to table £33m Ivan Rakitic bid'

Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a £33m offer for Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

The 31-year-old has made eight appearances for Barca during the 2019-20 campaign but has started just once in La Liga after falling down the pecking under at Camp Nou.

A number of clubs - including Manchester United, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain - have been credited with an interest in the Croatia international ahead of the January transfer window.

Inter are among those to be heavily linked, and according to El Desmarque, Antonio Conte's side are preparing to table a bid in the region of £33m in a bid to convince Barca to sell.

Rakitic has been a regular for the Catalan giants over the last five campaigns, making close to 300 appearances and winning four La Liga titles in the process.

The 2018 World Cup finalist has certainly fallen out of favour this term, though, and recently hinted that he could leave Camp Nou in search of regular football.
