Ivan Rakitic has hinted that he will look to leave Barcelona unless his current situation changes.
The Croatia international was strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou during the summer, with the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Inter Milan all said to have expressed an interest.
Rakitic ultimately remained with the Catalan giants, but the 2018 World Cup finalist has struggled for regular action this term - starting just once in La Liga in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign.
Inter and Juve are again being linked with a swoop, and the 31-year-old has suggested that he will look for an exit unless there is a change in the coming weeks.
"I don't know what will happen now," Rakitic told reporters. "It's tough because I want to play and not just be part of the team. I will do everything possible to change my situation.
"I have two years left on my deal and there's no better place to play than Barcelona, the best club in the world, but I need to play and not just enjoy walks around the city and the beach.
"I spoke with people at the club, everyone knew I had other options. I want to fight so that the team see me ready to deliver on the pitch. I want to thank the fans for the affection they showed me this weekend, but if nothing changes, we will have to sit down and talk about my situation again."
Rakitic has made 274 appearances for Barca since arriving from Sevilla in 2014 - winning four La Liga titles and the Champions League during his time with the Spanish giants.
