Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt is reportedly desperate to join Barcelona at the end of the season.
De Ligt, who is widely regarded as one of the best young centre-backs in world football, is believed to be on the radar of a host of the biggest clubs in European football.
Barcelona recently completed the signing of De Ligt's Ajax teammate Frenkie de Jong, who will officially move to the Spanish champions in this summer's transfer window.
According to Mundo Deportivo, De Ligt wants to follow De Jong to Camp Nou at the end of the season, although Barcelona will have to come up with a bid of £65m plus £9m in add-ons in order to sign the 19-year-old.
De Ligt, who is a 13-time Netherlands international, has scored nine times in 95 appearances for Ajax since stepping into the first team.
