Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele's move to Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly collapsed, in the latest twist surrounding the French international's future.
After reports on Sunday claimed that the 24-year-old had agreed terms with the Ligue 1 giants, further developments suggested that Manchester United were prepared to hijack that move on deadline day.
Dembele's contract at Camp Nou will expire at the end of this season and he has been told by the Catalan club to leave this month, but he is now unlikely to end up in the French capital at the end of Monday.
Le Parisien reports that PSG are not looking to bolster their attacking options, and the only possibility of movement at the Parc des Princes on Monday is likely to involve outgoings.
Left-back Layvin Kurzawa has been linked with a move to West Ham United, which could raise funds for the €20m Barca are demanding for Dembele, but financial barriers are not stopping PSG from purchasing the winger, Mauricio Pochettino's side are just content with the squad they have.
Dembele has scored 31 goals and provided 23 assists in 129 appearances for Barcelona, since arriving at the club in 2017.
