Barcelona have reportedly made a final offer of £5m for Sao Paulo defender Douglas.
The full-back has been strongly linked with a move to the Catalan outfit in recent weeks, but his Brazilian club have thus far repelled the interest.
It is understood that Sao Paulo are in need of the funds, but are not prepared to lose the defender for such a minimal fee.
According to Sport, Barca will not up their offer and have made Sao Paulo aware of the situation.
The Spanish club are hopeful of completing a deal this week.
