Report: Barcelona want right-back Douglas

Sao Paulo president Carlos Miguel Aidar reveals that Barcelona are keen on signing right-back Douglas with negotiations starting soon.

Barcelona are reportedly looking to sign Sao Paulo right-back Douglas, with Dani Alves looking to be heading for the exit.

Sao Paulo's president Carlos Miguel Aidar confirmed that negotiations will take place between the two sides for the sale of the right-back.

"Barca want to sell Dani Alves and are looking for a replacement for him, who would be Douglas," Aidar told Football Espana.

"He's doing everything and things are progressing well. We haven't spoken directly to Barca but we are aware of their interest, so are the agents."

Barcelona are reportedly keen on cashing in Dani Alves, with Paris Saint-Germain looking to be his potential buyers.
