Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez reportedly scouted teenage midfielder Franck Kessie during the Serie A clash between Atalanta BC and AS Roma at the weekend.
The 19-year-old, who has scored six goals in 12 appearances for Atalanta this season, revealed in September that he wants to represent Manchester United in the future.
It is understood that Man United are not currently interested in Kessie, but his agent recently claimed that Arsenal had scouted the Ivory Coast international last month.
According to Sport, Barcelona are now among the list of interested clubs and their sporting director Fernandez watched Kessie score a penalty during Atalanta's 2-1 victory over Roma on Sunday afternoon.
The teenager started his professional career with Stella Club in Ivory Coast, before making the move to Atalanta in 2015. Last season, Kessie scored four league goals during a loan spell with Cesena.
