The agent of Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva has encouraged Barcelona to make a bid for the player.
Silva himself has responded to the rumours, but Paulo Tonietto said that he would not be taking any talk seriously until it materialises into a bid.
"There's a lot of talk that Tito [Vilanova] likes him, but if that's the case, someone should open talks," he told RAC1.
"If you want to sign someone, you will not succeed in doing so by sitting at home watching television."
Silva joined PSG last summer and his current deal does not run out until 2017.
