West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski during this summer's transfer window.
The Hammers, who are currently attempting to bring in Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo, are expected to be active before the market closes.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Zielinski has been identified as a transfer target, with the capital outfit viewing him as the ideal player to boost their midfield next season.
The 28-year-old has been with Napoli since 2016, representing the club on 281 occasions in all competitions, and he was again an important player for the Blues last term.
The Poland international made 42 appearances at club level in 2021-22, finding the back of the net on eight occasions, in addition to contributing five assists.

Meanwhile, according to Tuttosport, Benfica are keen to bring experienced attacker Alexis Sanchez to the club before the end of the summer transfer window.
The 33-year-old was a regular for Inter Milan during the 2021-22 campaign, making 38 appearances in all competitions, contributing nine goals and five assists in the process.
However, Sanchez's contract at San Siro is due to expire next summer, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks.
The report claims that the forward is dreaming of a return to Barcelona, but the Catalan side are not interested in bringing him back to Camp Nou.
Benfica, though, have emerged as realistic contenders for his signature.

Elsewhere, Leicester City are reportedly keen to explore a possible deal for Sead Haksabanovic this summer.
The 23-year-old is currently with Russian side Rubin Kazan, but he is believed to be determined to secure a move before the end of the transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Leicester have 'set their sights' on the midfielder, who previously represented West Ham United between 2017 and 2020.
The Montenegro international only made two first-team appearances during his time with the Hammers, finding it difficult to make his mark during this first taste of English football.
Haksabanovic spent the final four months of last season on loan at Swedish club Djurgarden.

Meanwhile, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Everton are in the market for an "extra quality midfielder" this summer.
The Toffees have been quiet thus far this summer, only bringing in James Tarkowski on a free transfer from Burnley, but the club are expected to be busy before the end of the market.
Romano claims that head coach Frank Lampard is determined to improve his midfield options, and Wolverhampton Wanderers' Leander Dendoncker has emerged as a target.
The 27-year-old made 34 appearances for Wolves last season, including 30 outings in the Premier League, but his current deal at Molineux is due to expire in June 2023.
