West Ham United and Barcelona are reportedly in advanced negotiations over a potential summer move for striker Martin Braithwaite.
Following long-term injuries to Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele, Barca were given permission to bring in an emergency signing in February, and the Catalan giants acquired Braithwaite from Leganes.
After Braithwaite's departure, Leganes were ultimately relegated from the Spanish top flight after they were prohibited from signing a replacement.
However, Braithwaite only managed to chalk up a single goal in 11 appearances for Barca in the second half of the season, and the Catalan giants are reportedly prepared to part ways with the former Middlesbrough man after only a few months.
According to Mundo Deportivo, both Everton and West Ham are interested in the Danish forward, but it is the Hammers who have stolen a march on their rivals in the race for Braithwaite's signature.
The report claims that West Ham have tabled a bid of €20m (£18m) for the 29-year-old, who still has just under four years left to run on his current deal at Camp Nou.
