Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly among the clubs who have shown an interest in Vasco da Gama youngster Andrey Santos.
Since their return to the Premier League in 2018, Wolves have made a habit of trying to bring highly-regarded prospects to Molineux, providing them with opportunities to earn senior football.
According to Globo Esporte, that may prove to be the case with Andrey Santos if they decide to step up their initial interest in the 17-year-old.
The report claims that Wolves have recently made an enquiry for the midfielder, whose contract with the Brazlian outfit is due to expire in August 2023.
Nevertheless, it appears that Barcelona are currently regarded as the frontrunners for a player who has only made three first-team appearances at Estadio Sao Januario.
Vasco da Gama, who ply their trade in the second tier of Brazilian football, are seemingly keen to hand fresh terms to the Brazil Under-20 international.
AC Milan, Monaco and Benfica have also been credited as admirers for the defensive midfielder.
