West Ham United have kept up their push for an automatic promotion spot with a comfortable 4-0 win against Barnsley at Oakwell.
The Hammers dominated the first half and found themselves 3-0 up at the break.
Their first goal came after only seven minutes when Kevin Nolan tapped in after Matt Taylor's corner had deflected off Craig Davis.
It was 2-0 in the 23rd minute thanks to Nicky Maynard's drive from the edge of the area.
West Ham scored their third 10 minutes before the break as Mark Noble chipped the ball over David Button following a mistake from the Barnsley goalkeeper.
The win was sealed 10 minutes into the second half when Ricardo Vaz Te was first to the rebound after George McCartney's curled effort had been saved by Button.
It was nearly 5-0 on the hour, but Maynard's fierce shot came back off the crossbar.
