Sochaux 2-3 Bastia

Toifilou Maoulida scores a second-half headed double as Bastia beat Sochaux at Stade Bonal.

Toifilou Maoulida grabbed a headed brace as Bastia overcame Sochaux at Stade Bonal this evening.

Sochaux had led at half time courtesy of Sloan Privat's 13th-minute header from a deep Sebastien Roudet corner kick.

However, Anthony Modeste levelled the scores just before the hour mark with a low drive from six yards.

Wahbi Khazri crossed for Maoulida to nod home from very close range on 74 minutes, before the 33-year-old sealed the win seven minutes from time.

Thierry Doubai marked his first game for Sochaux following his permanent move from Udinese by netting a consolation goal in the final minute.
