Kwadwo Asamoah says that Juventus will head into their clash against Bayern Munich on Wednesday with "great confidence".

Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has insisted that he and his teammates are confident of turning around their Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich.

The Italian champions lost the first leg 2-0 at the Allianz Arena in Munich last week.

"The [2-1] win against Pescara gives us great motivation," he told Sky Sport Italia. "And it is also important for the Scudetto.

"After these three points, we play the Germans with great confidence."

Juventus will host the second leg in Turin on Wednesday.
