Paulo Dybala: 'Juventus can still progress to Champions League quarter-finals'

Juventus striker Paulo Dybala insists that his side can still reach the Champions League quarter-finals despite conceding two away goals against Bayern Munich.

Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has insisted that his side can still make it through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League despite conceding two away goals to Bayern Munich this evening.

Last season's runners-up appeared to be dead and buried having fallen 2-0 behind in the first leg of their last-16 tie at the Juventus Stadium, but Dybala kicked off a late comeback to give his side hope.

The striker, whose goal was added to by substitute Stefano Sturaro, believes that the result is not a bad one under the circumstances and insists that they can become the first side to beat Bayern at the Allianz Arena this season should they replicate their second-half performance.

"We did well tonight. We gave everything and never gave up. We can make it through if we play like we did in the second half," Dybala, whose goal was his first in the Champions League, told reporters.

"We showed heart and soul tonight and managed to come away with a draw. We now go to a very tough venue, where very few teams win. But we know that we can do it with a repeat of our second-half display."

The second leg will take place in Munich on Wednesday, March 16.
