Team News: Franck Ribery starts for Bayern Munich against Shakhtar Donetsk

Franck Ribery is back in the starting XI for Bayern Munich as they travel to the Ukraine to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Franck Ribery has returned to the Bayern Munich starting lineup for this evening's Champions League last-16 tie against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Frenchman came off the bench to score in their 8-0 win over Hamburg at the weekend and will join Thomas Muller, Mario Gotze and Arjen Robben in attack.

However, there is no place in the side for Robert Lewandowski, with the Polish striker being named among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, Brazilian forward Luiz Adriano will lead the line for Shakhtar, having scored a record nine goals in the group stages.

Shakhtar Donetsk: Pyatov, Srna, Kucher, Rakitskiy, Shevchuk, Fred, Fernando, Costa, Teixeira, Taison, Adriano

Bayern Munich: Neuer, Rafinha, Boateng, Bernat, Alaba, Alonso, Schweinsteiger, Gotze, Ribery, Robben, Muller
