Borussia Dortmund CEO: 'Jurgen Klopp perfect for Bayern Munich'

Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke backs former coach Jurgen Klopp to take the reins at bitter rivals Bayern Munich at some point in the future.

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has claimed that former coach Jurgen Klopp would have his blessing to join Bayern Munich at some point in the future.

The 48-year-old left Signal Iduna Park this summer after seven successful years but it remains to be seen what his next move will be.

Speculation is rife that Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is being lined up by Manchester City in 2016, and Watzke says that Klopp and the Bavarians are "100%" compatible.

"Jurgen Klopp is a candidate for every top club," he told the Rheinische Post.

"Klopp and Bayern would be 100 per cent suitable. You can't do much wrong at Bayern anyway - they win the Bundesliga whatever happens. Our friendship would not suffer."

Klopp won two Bundesliga titles and one DFB-Pokal during his stint at Dortmund.
