Pep Guardiola "very, very satisfied" with Bayern Munich win

Head coach Pep Guardiola praises the performance that Bayern Munich produced during their 3-0 win over Mainz.

Pep Guardiola has declared himself to be "very, very satisfied" with the way that his Bayern Munich players performed during their 3-0 victory away at Mainz yesterday afternoon.

The visitors were unable to score during the opening 45 minutes at the Coface Arena, but a second-half brace from Robert Lewandowski and a strike courtesy of Kingsley Coman sealed all three points for the Bavarians.

Speaking to the club's official website, Guardiola said: "I'm very, very satisfied today because I know how hard it is to win in Mainz.

"We controlled the match well and we allowed few chances and few counter-attacks. We had enough chances of our own to win the game."

The victory saw Bayern extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table to five points.
