Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Borussia Dortmund vs. RB Leipzig

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Bundesliga fixtures, including Borussia Dortmund vs. RB Leipzig.

Bayern vs. Union Berlin (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Vincent Kompany will be hoping that his Bayern Munich side can maintain their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga on Saturday when they host Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern lead the way in the top flight with 20 points from eight league games and beat VfL Bochum 5-0 on October 27, while the visitors are fourth with 15 points after eight matchweeks and drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt last Sunday.

We say: Bayern Munich 2-0 Union Berlin

Despite their impressive defensive record, it is difficult to see how Union Berlin can keep Bayern Munich from scoring on Saturday given the hosts' rampant offensive displays this season.

If the visitors were to concede first, it would not be surprising if they struggled to create many chances given their poor showings in the final third this term.

Frankfurt vs. VfL Bochum (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Champions League hopefuls Eintracht Frankfurt are set to host VfL Bochum on Saturday at Deutsche Bank Park in the Bundesliga.

The Eagles are sixth in the league with 14 points from eight matches and are only one point from fourth-placed Union Berlin, who occupy the division's final Champions League qualification spot, while the away side are last in 18th place with just one point.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 VfL Bochum

Eintracht Frankfurt will be confident of victory given their impressive home form, although they are unlikely to keep a clean sheet considering their concerning defensive record.

While Bochum will be hoping to enjoy a period of relative success under new management, it would not be surprising if results did not improve until a permanent manager was appointed.

Hoffenheim vs. St Pauli (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Struggling Hoffenheim and St Pauli are separated by one place in the Bundesliga table heading into Saturday's gameweek nine clash at PreZero Arena.

The 15th-placed hosts could be leapfrogged by their promoted opponents if they suffer a three-goal loss.

We say: Hoffenheim 2-0 St Pauli

With Saad missing for St. Pauli, the away side's already tricky visit to Hoffenheim just got doubly harder without their top scorer.

Despite the closeness in the table, the hosts should take care of business and notch a fourth consecutive home triumph in all competitions.

Wolfsburg vs. Augsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

In their ninth Bundesliga game of the season, relegation threatened Wolfsburg are set to host Augsburg on Saturday at Volkswagen Arena.

The Wolves are fifth last in 14th place with eight points and drew 0-0 with newly-promoted St Pauli on October 26, while the away team are in 12th place with 10 points from eight league games.

We say: Wolfsburg 2-2 Augsburg

Although Augsburg have been in better form of late, it is difficult to ignore their poor away record.

However, Wolfsburg have struggled at home for some time, and it would not be surprising if both sides shared points on the weekend.

Holstein Kiel vs. Heidenheim (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Holstein Kiel and Heidenheim meet at Holstein-Stadion in Saturday's gameweek nine match in a battle between a host in their first Bundesliga season and an opponent in their second-ever top-flight year.

The newly promoted side has yet to win this season, while Heidenheim sit mid-table before their visit to Kiel.

We say: Holstein Kiel 1-2 Heidenheim

Despite Heidenheim's underwhelming record at Kiel, the visitors have more about them than the struggling 17th-placed side and will back themselves to clinch a third road top-flight success in five away matches.

Dortmund vs. RB Leipzig (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Nuri Sahin's side are in desperate need of a win, but they face a difficult task on Saturday given they welcome RB Leipzig to Signal Iduna Park in their ninth Bundesliga match of the season.

BVB are in seventh place with 13 points after eight matchweeks and lost 2-1 against Augsburg in the league on October 26, while Die Roten Bullen are second with 20 points and are only behind leaders Bayern Munich due to goal difference.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 1-3 RB Leipzig

It is difficult to see how Dortmund can avoid defeat given their sheer number of injury absentees, as well as their poor form.

Additionally, despite their continental struggles this term, RB Leipzig have been exceptional in the Bundesliga, and it would not be surprising if they inflicted more misery upon Dortmund on Saturday.
