Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Augsburg vs. Borussia Dortmund

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Bundesliga fixtures, including Augsburg vs. Borussia Dortmund.

Stuttgart vs. Holstein Kiel (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Last season's Bundesliga runners-up Stuttgart will hope to bounce back from defeat last time out in the league and take all three points when they host newly-promoted Holstein Kiel on Saturday at MHPArena in their eighth league game of the season.

The hosts lost 4-0 against Bayern Munich last Saturday and are in 10th place with just nine points, while the away side are second last in 17th place with two points and lost 2-0 against Union Berlin on October 20.

We say: Stuttgart 2-1 Holstein Kiel

Given the energy that Stuttgart expended against Juventus, it would not be surprising if they looked somewhat disjointed in the opening stages of the game.

However, it is difficult to look past Holstein Kiel's poor form this season, and the hosts should be strong favourites heading into Saturday's match.

RB Leipzig vs. Freiburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

RB Leipzig will hope to maintain their strong domestic form and mount a challenge to leaders Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga when they host Freiburg at Red Bull Arena on Saturday.

Die Roten Bullen are second with 17 points after seven matchweeks and are level on points with Vincent Kompany's Bayern, though the visitors are only two points behind them in third place after their seven league games.

We say: RB Leipzig 1-0 Freiburg

Although Freiburg beat Augsburg last time out, their underlying creative numbers were not particularly strong, and they could struggle against Leipzig's formidable defence.

However, given Leipzig's tiring match against Liverpool on Wednesday, it would not be surprising if Saturday's clash was a close affair.

Augsburg vs. Dortmund (Saturday, 2.30pm)

After their humiliating defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, Nuri Sahin's Borussia Dortmund will hope to bounce back when they travel to face Augsburg at WWK Arena on Saturday in their eighth Bundesliga game of the season.

Dortmund lost 5-2 against Real last time out and are seventh in the league with 13 points, while the hosts are fourth last in 15th place with just seven points from seven games and lost 3-1 against Freiburg last Saturday.

We say: Augsburg 2-2 Borussia Dortmund

While Sahin will hope that his side can bounce back in convincing fashion against Augsburg, it is difficult to overlook his side's poor defensive record.

Additionally, Dortmund have been poor away from home in recent Bundesliga matches, and it would not be surprising if Augsburg managed to earn a point on Saturday.

St Pauli vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Both struggling at the wrong end of the Bundesliga standings, St Pauli and Wolfsburg will meet at Millerntor-Stadion on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts still await their first win and first goal on home turf this season, while Die Wolfe have been scoring freely but cannot keep the back door shut.

We say: St Pauli 1-2 Wolfsburg

Six of Wolfsburg's seven points have come away from home this season, and they are also one of only four teams to score in every game so far.

By contrast, sub-par St Pauli have fired blanks in more than half of their fixtures, so the visitors should prevail.

Werder Bremen vs. B. Leverkusen (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Champions Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to stay within touching distance of leaders Bayern Munich when they travel to face Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga at Weserstadion on Saturday.

The Green-Whites are in eighth place with 11 points after seven matchweeks and beat Wolfsburg 4-2 last time out on October 20, while Leverkusen are in fourth place with 14 points from seven games and are three points behind Bayern.

We say: Werder Bremen 1-4 Bayer Leverkusen

Although it would be surprising if Leverkusen kept a clean sheet, they have still been excellent from an offensive perspective this season.

If the visitors were to take the lead, it is difficult to see how Werder Bremen would prevent Alonso's side from running away with the game.
