Birmingham City hold a narrow lead over Burnley at the midway point of the sides' Championship encounter at St Andrews.

Curtis Davies has scored the game's only goal so far, heading home from six yards on 30 minutes following Robert Hall's whipped cross.

Burnley, who had been the better side up until that point, almost took the lead on 12 minutes, but Jack Butland made an outstanding save to deny Martin Paterson one on one.

At the other end, Lee Grant has also made smart stops to deny Ravel Morrison and Nathan Redmond.
