Lee Clark has decided to give Jesse Lingard his home debut for Birmingham City as they welcome Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship, with the midfielder having arrived on a month-long loan deal from Manchester United in the week.

The Blues also have captain Paul Robinson back in the side, while David Murphy returns for the hosts.

As for Wednesday, defender Roger Johnson makes his debut after joining on a loan deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the influential Lewis Buxton misses out as manager Dave Jones looks to get his side climbing the table.

Birmingham City: Randolph; Bartley, Burn, Robinson, Spector, Adeyemi, Elliott, Murphy, Burke, Green, Lingard

Sheffield Wednesday: Kirkland; Johnson, Zayatte, Johnson, Spence, Prutton, Helan, Palmer, McPhail, Antonio, Maghoma
