Venky's chief Anuradha Desai is believed to be the only Blackburn board member willing to support Steve Kean, according to reports.

Venky's chief Anuradha Desai is believed to be the only board member willing to keep Steve Kean as Blackburn Rovers manager.

The Scotsman has been under a huge amount of pressure to step down from the helm in Lancashire following the side's 2-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday.

While the Indian owners are prepared to let go of the under-fire boss, Desai is determined to allow Kean time to turnaround Rovers' season, according to the Daily Mail.

Blackburn are bottom of the league, recording just two victories from 17 matches.
