Blackburn Rovers bring in former Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew

Blackburn Rovers sign former Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew on a three-year contract.

Blackburn Rovers have announced that they have signed Charlie Mulgrew on a free transfer.

Earlier this summer, it was revealed that Mulgrew was leaving Celtic after six years in Glasgow and the Scottish international has now found a new home at Ewood Park.

The versatile defender has penned a three-year contract with the North-West side to become Owen Coyle's 11th signing since his arrival at the club.

Mulgrew has previously played in the Football League with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southend United.
