Disgruntled Blackburn Rovers players have reportedly expressed their disappointment with the news that midfielder Chris Samba has submitted a transfer request.
Samba's teammates feel "let down" by Samba's move, which comes after manager Steve Kean insisted that he was not for sale.
"His teammates feel really let down by him," The Sun quotes a Blackburn insider as saying.
"They are all right behind the manager and think they can pull off the great escape to stay in the Premier League.
"But they know losing Samba would be a huge blow and can't believe he has chosen such a vital time to desert them."
Kean has given the 27-year old a £12m price tag.
