Blackburn Rovers have confirmed the arrival of Paul Taylor from Ipswich Town on an emergency loan.
The 27-year-old has been offered a short-term deal until the end of the season following a trial at the club.
Manager Gary Bowyer told the club's official website: "He's been with us a couple of weeks. We were just having a look at him in training and he did well.
"He's got fantastic ability on the ball, he can score and create goals so we are hoping that he comes and adds that to our attacking force."
Taylor, who has been an Ipswich player since 2012, will be available to play in Blackburn's upcoming match against Leeds United, but is not eligible to face Liverpool in the club's FA Cup quarter-final replay at Ewood Park.
