Fulham, Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City are all thought to be interested in signing Nottingham Forest full back Chris Gunter, according to The Mirror.
The Wales international has previously enjoyed time in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur but left in 2009 to join the East Midlands outfit.
Rovers manager Steve Kean has made no secret of his desire to add to his squad in January. The under-fire boss has suffered a string of injuries in defence this term and has allegedly targeted Gunter to boost his back line.
Meanwhile, Canaries tactician Paul Lambert is looking for a long-term acquisition at right back, with on loan Kyle Naughton expected to return to Spurs at the end of the season.
However, it is Martin Jol who is favourite to sign the Welshman for Fulham, who is likely to command a seven-figure sum.
