Wolverhampton Wanderers have a 1-0 half-time lead over Blackpool in this evening's Championship clash at Bloomfield Road.
The visitors took the lead with just three minutes on the clock as Sylvan Ebanks-Blake kept his composure to slot the ball past Matt Gilks.
Despite going behind, Blackpool had the better chances of the first half and they could have got themselves level on 31 minutes when Thomas Ince tried to pick out Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. However, the pass was a poor one and the opportunity was wasted.
The hosts were on the attack soon after though, and it was only the woodwork that kept out Tiago Gomes's instinctive strike.
Ince, who caused Wolves plenty of problems during the opening 45 minutes, should have done better late on, but his shot was saved with just goalkeeper Carl Ikeme to beat.
