Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has hailed the impact of David Ngog after the striker came off the bench to earn a 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic.
The former Liverpool forward was introduced during the second half at the Reebok Stadium and he found the net twice in the final 15 minutes.
"David Ngog turns up every day and works very hard on the training ground and that should be the headline, not his goals," Freedman told Sky Sports News.
"He's got a great leader to learn off in Kevin Davies and I myself like to think that I can help him make the most of his career."
Victory for Bolton has seen them move up into 13th place in the Championship table.
