Team News: Lloyd Dyer handed Birmingham City start at Bolton Wanderers

Birmingham City hand a start to Lloyd Dyer for their final Championship game of this season against Bolton Wanderers.

Lloyd Dyer has been rewarded for his match-winning goal against Charlton Athletic last weekend with a place in the Birmingham City lineup for the trip to Bolton Wanderers.

Midfielder Stephen Gleeson is also included by manager Gary Rowett for the game at the Macron Stadium, but David Cotterill drops to the bench.

David Davis is also named among the substitutes for the visitors, but Birmingham, who scored twice in stoppage time at Wanderers last season to avoid relegation, will be without the injured Rob Kiernan.

Meanwhile, Bolton boss Neil Lennon has opted for experience up front with Eidur Gudjohnsen and Emile Heskey chosen to start against City.

Neil Danns and Barry Bannan, who were recalled for the defeat at Bournemouth following a breach of club discipline, keep their places for the Trotters.

Bolton Wanderers: Bogdan, Threlkeld, Ream, Taylor, Moxey, M Davies, Danns, Bannan, Gudjohnsen, Le Fondre, Heskey

Birmingham City: Randolph, Caddis, Morrison, Spector, Grounds, Gleeson, Tesche, Gray, Fabbrini, Dyer, Donaldson
