Bordeaux have beaten Rennes to notch their first win of the new Ligue 1 season.

It was Ludovic Obraniak who decided the game in the 75th minute by converting left-footed from inside the box.

Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik had a chance to snatch a point in the dying seconds, but his effort was saved by Cedric Carrasso.

The hosts will make the trip to face Paris Saint-Germain next Sunday, while Rennes will host Bastia on Saturday.
